Wa… sec 3 level camp.. not say fun.. but v exciting. Ok ill do it day by day

Day1- took the coach from school to sarimbun scouts camp.. quite far away near limchukang road.. 45 mins bus ride? Abt there. Camp started.. my group name was Alpha.. groups are the classes la.. alpha bravo Charlie delta ecko foxtrot hotel

Intro blabla.. then pitch tent!! Really quite cool to pitch a tent.. I mean.. how many of you actually pitched a tent before? Ahaha.. my first time doing.. then the ropes I tie the knots all very nice one :) after that lunch I think.. then activities!

<all activies played in our groups><different groups start with different activities><my group was my class>

Activity 1-Teambuilding

Basically consists of 3 games, spider web, trolley, and giant finger. Spider web.. most of us play b4 ba.. the one got a lot of ropes tied to 2 poles, then in the middle have like a lot of holes.. then muz bring ur group members thru the holes to the other side.. got some holes smaller than the others to harder.. etc

Trolley.. 4 of us in one team, then have these 2 long planks with ropes, one plank for each leg. Then the four of us muz get on both planks, and using the ropes, use them as mechanical legs lidat and walk from one end to the other. My team thrash the others! :P

Giant finger was this 3-3.5m high pole, with a tyre around it at the base. Basically, we muz push the tyre thru the top and put it back in again. So muz form this 4 man-base and then a human pyramid.. alwyn and som1 stand ontop of the base ppl to reach and push it over la. We were one of the only groups who did it I think :) cos super high and not easy.

Activity 2- River Challenge

Hmm.. 2 tyres and 2 diameter abt 8cm logs, and ropes. Given this, we muz construct a raft that will carry us, 4 at a time, across a super murky river (nicknamed the Milo Pond) (cos tat was the colour of it) abt 20 metres la. Got guideline to pull once we all in the raft. Got a little wet

Activity 3- Nature Rumble

No doubt.. the dirtiest and most pointless but super fun activity!! We walk a long way to this like 20 metre by 3 metre mud pit. Absolute black mud. Im not talking about your ordinary field brownish mud. Im talking abt pure black mud, in thick slimy lumps. All we had to do was get in to the mud pit and get dirty :)

Haha.. those scared dirty ppl stand one side.. the rest of us jump inside roll about.. cover ourselves with black mud from head to toe.. but the thing is the mud at the bottom like quicksand lidat.. you step in rite, it will pull your shoe down, then if you pull up too fast without wriggling ur foot you’ll lose your shoe.. then got some ppl from other classes lose shoe.. but the mud was super cool lor! Just thick grimy chunks of black mud! Haha then some of us totally covered with black mud. Then we gel our hair with the mud also.. the mud was like the best hair-holder you can ever find.. beats wax or clay or anything.. it’s super firm and solid lor. :) I make some fin hairstyle.. hahaa

Then after this was over.. we went to get hosed down by the instructors la.. took some time .. cos we super covered with mud.. then hose for super long.. haha.. then our white shirts all become totally brown after washing off the mud.

Hmm. Then dinner. Blabla. Ok I talk abt all the activities k.

Night Games-

This was pretty lame.. we were blindfolded, then walk walk walk walk walk ard the camp then muz watch out for obstacles la which one unblindfolded person will tell the first guy who muz pass it down the line. Then at the end part we were brought to a big field, all separated, mixed with other class ppl, then while blindfolded, muz locate our class ppl and get together to form a group la. So like muz shout ‘alpha!! Alpha!!’ etc..

Activity 4- nature discovery hunt

Ok, the most boring activity of the entire camp. Basically, we’re given 3 lists, one list of creatures to find (e.g. toad, grasshopper, worm) one list of trees to locate and one list of leaves to find (like angsana sagaseeds etc)

Boringness.

Activity 5 – command and conquer

The game is not as cool as the name suggests ok :) basically.. group divided into 3 sections.. then start from this point.. one at a time, race to this point, then leopard crawl like fifteen metres which was like quite hard, then when 3 finish, group huddle, spin 15 rounds. Then they limbo dance thru this rope that wasn’t tat low.  Keep doing until everyone in the section is through. Then form this caterpillar chain.. sit down in a row, facing front, legs around each other’s waist, then use hands to move forward a distance..

Then we build this catapult..with 3 logs (like before) and ropes and a mess tin. and launch water bombs.. my section launch best one actually hit the other group. Oh yeah each group got one leader whom we muz ‘kill’ (get wet) and the group members muz keep dry and protect. Then our water bomb so zun then they keep blocking quite irritating. Other group’s catapult break, fail or launching cannot reach. Then when all the waterbombs finish every1 take one waterbomb and chiong and try to get the leader wet. Ah!! I still cant throw water bomb! Throw both at close range both miss terribly!! Hahaha

Acitivty 6 – SOC (standard obstacle course)

Yup SOC.. those in NS should know this. But it rained earlier on so we couldn’t do a lot of things cos wet then they scared we slip and fall. First obstacle.. Low Wall.. this wall about lower than 2 metres.. then muz vault over la..run, grab the top, pull up then climb over. I did it pretty easily but those heavier ppl need help la :)

Ok I cant remember all the obstacles, so ill just say those which I did.. then got Suicide Window.. basically this bar at about our waist, and another nearer to our ankle. Then we muz lean over the top bar, flip over and grab the bottom bar with the other hand, then flip completely over. Not really flip juz swing over lidat. Quite easy.. just muz conquer the fear of it.. muz really swing over and grab the bottom bar.

Low Beam.. this low beam which we muz juz vault over.. at higher than waist level.

Then the most fun one.. Jacobs Ladder! This huge stair case made up of big logs as steps.. goes up to abt 3 metres I think. Then the log is round rite, so muz balance also. Then go up quite challenging, go down even harder.. heh. Fun fun.

Activity 7 – Initiative Games

Dunno how it got its name.. basically 3 games also. First game, this two benches abt 1.5 metres apart.. we’re given 4 logs(like before) and ropes to make a bridge.. then muz walk over the bridge.  After that.. these 9 bricks… then given 2 planks, then muz get from point a to point b.. our tactic not bad finished quite fast. Last game, everyone grab part of this large rope, blindfolded. Then one leader stands in the middle. He’s then given a shape, like a triangle, then he muz try to form the shape by asking the ppl to move forward, pull back the rope a bit.. etc.

Activity 8- Rock climbing!!!

Ah!! We didn’t do this activity cos it was raining!! So sad. :( the rock wall super high like ten stories high. Ok la not so high.. 8 stories. But really very high. Looked so fun lor… :(

Yups tats it for the activities. Oh yeah something really interesting happened on the 2^nd day.. like after lunch, there was this break.. so we went back to our campsites.. then got 2 campsites, one campsite all Express classes the other got 2 express and 3 Normal classes. Then my campsite rite, every tent got thing stolen and bags ransacked!!! It was like the entire campsite!! Bags that were closed were wide open.. some bags ransacked.. money, discman, handphones missing.. widespread panic. Then we report to teacher.. luckily I didn’t lose anything cos I didn’t bring anything! :) dunno whether got money.. but if got also not a lot. It was a mass theft.. so cool.

I heard they recovered part of the missing items and have a few suspects.. then at the end of the camp got a bag check.. then go back to school I think confirmed a few suspects.. everyone had to gather in the canteen.. then the discipline committee teachers all come out then police also came.. then after a while those who had items stolen had to stay back.. I dunno wat happen cos I left already.

Hee ok I think tats all I have to say abt camp. Oh yeah I lost my phone on Sunday.. some idiot stole it.. well.. I think I getting another phone.. im hoping to get 6100 but my aunty say too expensive..I dunno why I think she’s buying the phone by itself, then it costs over $200!! I dunno.. most likely getting back 2100. oh well.Thank god if I can even get a phone.. and im really lucky I didn’t lose anything at camp.. yup.  Hope the culprits get apprehended asap.-- alan. out

yawn.. 3^rd day since school reopened.. and im still not in the studying mood.. Haiz.. juz finished by holiday hmwk today .. :)I hope :P hahaz.. I keep sleeping in class.. not that Im too tired to stay awake or I doze off, but I just lazy and choose to lie down and sleep.. hee

dordor- ah.. miss her.. she change church already.. but ill never forget her lively personality.. wat was her fave phrase again? Bright eyed and bushy tailed! :)

dora- haha I dunno her at all but I just wanna say that I think she’s a super happy person. Hahahah.. during church camp she’s ALWAYS laughing!! I dunno at wat also? But the big open mouth smile :D is always on her.. hee.

ivin – hee.. the bay leader now. His paunch getting a bit big. ;p pretty fun.. always laugh super loud.. injects the ‘laugh’ factor into the group..

Jeanette!! – hee I din forget u la I juz din have ur number in my phone book tat day. Some words to describe her? Lively lovely bright and cheery, godly happy right and pretty. Haha it rhymes! :p anyway. Yup those are true btw. She’s an excellent girl.. always keeps everyone’s morale up.. you cant just not smile when you see her.. it’s infectious :) very close to god too.. and she’s hardworking! Heh yes yes. Miss her too wish she’d be back more often :)

Jeremy- hee mi classmate again.. my partner last time in pri school :) Full Backs™ :) he’s a super fit-looking and cute-looking boy.. look like hamster lidat =) very good heart.. honest and nice. Always stands by his morals.. tats what I admire abt him.. yup. Excellent pal man.

Kenzac- heh tennis hopeful flown to florida.. hehe he’s super fun to have around.. now im taller than him ! :) hee wish he’d be back too. Why do ppl have to go overseas huh.

Keeeel ! – ah.. y he also go overseas. Sighz. Hee he’s english major leh. Delightfully intelligent being, don’t you think? Doesn’t procrastinate or hesitate, is charitable and heart-warming, always comprehending various conversations politically incorrect statements and… ahhaha ok ok ill stop.

He rox! Has a great sense of humour and is like ‘Father Bay’. Everyone’s starting to miss him already now tat he’s gone for 6 weeks.. me too!!!

Wilfred- haha.. his voice is just so… one tone. Haha.. I think he’s pretty nice guy la.. but sometimes too ‘cong dong’ esp during ball games.. lol. Calm down.. take a deep breath.. think.. ;) but fun la.

Oh.. and if you were wondering wats ‘The Fullbacks™’.. it’s a nickname given to the four of us (me, Jeremy, weixuan and boonlay) by our classmates.. we were like super good frens since p4. cos in p4-p6 we were in school soccer team, I was DL, boonlay DC, Jeremy DR, weixuan GK. We played 7-a-side at pri school level. So 3 – 3 – 1. so we form the defence la.. and we happened to all be in 6-6 in primary six.. (dunno why they named the class 6-6 when it wasn’t the 6^th class) , so we labelled ourselves “6-6 defence” too :)

Yup then this yr sec 3.. me wx and Jeremy still together in 3sa.. but boonlay got put in 3s2.. yup. So not together le lor. And we don’t play much soccer now also .

Whee.. so long nvr write. Well, school was boring and I dun wanna write abt it.. so ill do sth I saw on leons blog.. friends thing. Heh

Abby- has grown a lot spiritually in the past 2-3 years.. really amazed by her growth and encouraged too.. same age :) never spend a lot of time with her too but hope to do so.. cos she’s like my age group so muz be tighter ma. U see the other older ppl.

Abel – just started coming for bay.. finally.. should be fun having him here every week! Cell mate! Same age too.. :) hope to spend more time together.. etc. [see ‘abby’. :P]

Adele – one of the many few who kept saying I was cute back in my p6-sec1 (“baby alan”) era. ;) made good frens wif her then.. still good frens now :)

Angeline- heh.. juz got to know at church camp.. super quiet ah.. but its like when you make her smile you’ll feel very proud of urself cos she hardly smiles! Shy like mouse

Kenny – hehe when ppl describe him they say like ‘the tall tall gangster guy’. Hahah!! No la he’s a very nice and sweet guy.. just that outwardly he act a bit gangster ah. Can sing like super well too.

Leon- he ah.. change a lot since he first joined bay.. now a lot better! I have to admit I didn’t really like him last time.. but now.. he’s just such a good example for the rest and like dares to go up and share during open-worship, etc.. continue growing in christ!!

Lina – also know her during church camp.. I agree with one testimonial I saw of her in friendster : “she has a sexy voice” :) haha.. never get to know her much except she loves orange and enjoys taboo. Hahaz… hope to get to know her better..

Lois- ahh! Cute girl! Haha.. super cute sia .. but not in bay la so like dunno her totally. But she’s like super pretty lor! Tho she’s just p5 =)

Lydia- whee.. one of my best girl friends in church! Known her for 3 years le.. and she’s just super lively.. always injects the ‘Life’ into the party.. very fast.. so good defender in netball/basketball/anyotehrthing .. can sing well also la but she shy to admit. ;) keep growing in christ!

Anthea – heh I saved her under ‘N’ in my phone book . (N thea) well.. also got to know her at camp.. she in my games group.. and her personality is like ultimate cuteness.. she’s like totally frank and honest .. cute also.  Hope to get to know her better too..  muz continue interest in drums! Heh

Tianen- cute guy! Call him that and he’ll blush uncontrollably.. a really nice and sweet guy.. honest and nice and.. hahaz yup. I gai him a lot of times in bball le :P but still cant beat him.. last game 7-3. nvm ill beat him one day.

Timo—hehehehe super super funny guy.. will entertain you totally at dinner/lunch table. Just don’t eat too much if not you might puke. Hahah nah just kidding. But he’s very funny.. gonna be my Sunday school teacher soon.. inject that sense of humour with your godly teaching and the whole class will enjoy your lessons!

Weilyn- haha.. the ‘chiobu’ of the 1990 batch.. or so the guys say.. hehe. Mad abt manga.. and something which ill not mention here. :P muz focus more on god and on studies ah ok.. read less manga. But muz still lend me la. :P

Yvonne- hehe.. laugh super loud one. No la. But very fun to hang out with.. gb.. ok la. Asate not good. :P choir one.. tho nvr really hear her sing before.. hmmz. Heh hope to spend more time wif ya too!

Benben- ahha I saved him as ‘da(big) ben’ so he’s last. Well.. really encouraging person.. very generous in giving sweets and stuff and lending his jackets to girls and just caring for everyone.. just like a big brother to everyone.. tats why we call him big ben, besides the fact that he’s the bigger ben. :)

Today started off wif school.. the last day of chem remedial.. then.. actually plan to go out wif lydia one.. go borders.. I nd som1 to go wif me ma.. then she like don’t mind going actually.. then dunno y today she last minute say dun wan.. grr. Then joel also last minute say cannot go his house already.. grr

Then lucky msging clarinda then found out they going kayaking.. so I decided to go lor. To get tan. :) tho im not realli tanned now. Went to east coast macs.. haha and I think I would realy make a good spy I was spying on darryl and he couldn’t find me though I wasn’t more than 10 metres away. :) we were in macs.

Anyway.. yupyup.. went to the kayak shop there…aezoh work there leh. How cool. He can go for the Strait times Sunday sweat section the ‘hot bod’ section .. hahaz.. not bad ah. Lean body. I muz train my shoulders to be broader. Heex

Anyway.. every1 else besides clarinda wanted to go kayaking at first.. I din wanna go cos I no change ma. Then if wet then super sick. Then in the end we decided to go kayak too so me n clarinda took the 2-person-boat. Yvonne and wl too.

Pretty fun.. my first time kayaking.. but then the ppl who went (gideon wilfred darryl dominic wl yvoone) super irritating sia.. I rest for a while then say I lazy.. never pedal.. blabla.. I think I can outpedal all of them lor.. I chiong for a while I can like zoom past them. Then I juz rest for a while also cannot… I got pedal hor. But I feel kayaking quite pointless unless you have a destination. We kayaked quite far away to this other coast which you cant see from the kayak shop.

Then wl and clarinda try to capsize my boat!! They jump off la for fun, then they both pull my boat try to flip it!! Idiots! Hahaha super fun then I try to push back with my oar. I use a lot of force to counterbalance them la so lucky never topple. Then I threaten to knock them wif mi oar then they stop.. lol.. tho I wont one la.

Then poor gideon got cut. He came over la to help stabilise my boat cos the girls keep trying to capsize me (cos I din wanna get capsized ma ) (I din wanna get wet, tho I was already wet, but I mean.. like.. sea water is so yucky) then the bottom of his boat ran into some rocks, then it flipped, and his feet was cut by some rock. It chopped his whole feet off.

Haha are you like shocked. No la trying to scare you only. He just got a pretty bad cut on the sole of his foot.. muz go bandage.

Yupyup so kayak kayak.. then I realise I can kayak quite fast when clarinda and wilfred decided to race to somewhere, then I was like at least 10 metres behind, then when they start, I also chiong towards them, they I caught them leh. Wow. But I think like wilfred MIGHT not have been using all his strength and skill to pedal la. But dunno, but I was surprised I could catch up from so far behind. Then I pull clarinda and stop her.. hahaz.  (oh we switched to single boats at this point so we were by ourselves)

Whatever the case.. kayaking fast the feeling quite shiok ah. Its like.. you can feel the strain and all the effort you’re putting in, and at the same time you feel the breeze as you speed on so quickly. And the effect even better when you overtake people, or even ppl who are not moving, cos more contrasting ma. Shiok. Nxt time I drive I will drive super fast. Haha.. no la. But fast la. :

Hmmmz… went home for dinner.. dunno y felt super tired.. not physically tired, I could like still play bball if I wanted to, but when I touch my bed I almost fell asleep! Dunno y leh. Like mentally tired also though i din use my brain much ma. Kayaking need to think meh. Lol

Hehe. Pretty fun day. Tmr bay.. all the camp frens coming back. Lina angeline anthea clarice derek. Should be happening. Hehex. Muz ask ppl write in my camp booklet also if not empty again. Takkaire. Nitez.

Church camp over :( sad ah… camp was sooooo fun and enriching.. where should I start. Ok I do a journal form of each day..

Monday -- bus ride there was boring.. mostly slept cos it was thru the night.. played and talked a little little bit wif wl and clarinda who were next to me. We reached the hotel at abt.. 12 then had to wait till 4pm to check in to our rooms.. so we went to hav lunch la. we had ba gu tey.. first time in my life eating leh believe it anot. Quite good la. but the drinks rite, the ice very weird taste. Dunno how they geddit one. Some of us went shopping after that.. mi and gabs and some others bought christabel bday present.. gabs super indecisive sia. I bought her a stuff toy pig.. v cute one.

Back to the hotel… then.. icebreakers wif the adults.. then jeanette like introduce lina and angeline to a few ppl la.. then she wave to me ask me say hi then I shy ma. So juz stare back at her wave at her. Hahaz… then play this game the newcomers muz memorise 10 names and say out la, then lina said my name and I din expect ma cos I din know she knew then I nvr raise hand. Hmmz.. Bla bla.. then dinner! Whee! Haha.. I sat nxt to lina, my group one, but at tat moment we like totally dunno each other.. at mi table was angeline.. jeanette ivane cheryl daniel kenny(? Not sure abt this) and a few others which I forgot. Then they keep asking me stuff and lik paisei me la. lol. Dinner was good. The guys got to eat a lot cos mostly girls ma. Then we eat until shiok.

Then after tat.. we had the youth ice breakers :) played a couple of games.. pretty fun la. Then.. pick angels for the angel mortal game.. at first I got shushu.. which is good la cos it was a girl but later on at nite found out had to change cos some screw up. Bleahz. After msg by jon fong.. we went to sleep. Zzz. But first watched bball.. lakers vs pistons game 1.. lakers lost :( (mi bunkmates = abel n gideon )

Tuesday – devotions taken by jeanette.. mi bunk got up fairly easily in the morning at 650hrs. got som stupid morning call thing tat woke us up.. (Disabled after this day dunno y ) abt being passionate for god.. we  went off individually to pray and such la. (this was the only day I went for devotions :p )

Breakfast was good too.. buffet.. then got these 2 chefs cook egg for u if u want. Scrambled sunnyside or omelette. Cool la. Blabla..then msg! Then discussions! First time spending time with my group. Short description for fun:

Jeanette – leader. Close to god. Can hear what god says to each one of us. talked a lot for each of the discussions. Made a lot of effort to help us in the discussions.

Joel – coleader. Had some pretty cool illustrations which I never knew he had. Quite funny to hear him talk cos he’s nervous and will pronounce all his words very clearly like all the ‘d’ ‘t’ ‘s’ ‘k’. guess we all were nervous.

Gideon – also nervous. Talk very little. Shy la. But seeks god. Good.

Angelina- super super quiet. Shy? Talks very little, and that’s when she opens us lor. Very quiet.. smile also cannot smile full mouth one unless uncontrollable.

Lina – lik her hair better when its tied. Talked v little at first too,but later on opened up. To like.. everyone in camp.

Rachael – shy also. Always look down when talking. (im trying to kick this habit too) always say ‘erm’. :)

Blabla.. lunch.. sucky food.. lunch is always lousy food dunno y. buffet style btw. Games got special group one. Me anthea gabs benc cheryl hozzy leon. Anthea super cute one. I don’t say act cute (which is what she does) bcos act cute actually means only in front of some ppl u pretend to be cute cute then talk also pretend u’re cute. But to everyone she’s lidat so I don’t think she’s acting but I really dunno. Mostly relay games la.

After games played cards wif girls in my room tho they took like forever. -_- easily won. Lol. No la. not really.

Dinner. Then.. msg time.. michael was distracted by the noise next door (there was zero soundproofing so like they sing song and the speaker talk can hear very clearly from the youth room) then started apologising and stuff. Then din reli hav msg. Discussions.. they prayed with each one of us individually and privately, both joel and jeanette together. I felt kinda sick.

Then jeanette said something amazing.. she like read my mind la. she said I was thinking abt something which has been bothering me for a while.. then like dunno if should go on with it (this thing is actually abt to try being a leader in church) and she told me god said just go ahead and do it. sth lidat. God really spoke thru her.. so amazing.

Yup then slept almost immediately after the group left my room ( yup they used mi room for discussions) cos I felt sick.

Wednesday- din go down for devotions.. slept an extra 45 mins or so cos I still felt sick. Feverish. Then I went down to the room, jeanette ask me how I was feeling like casually.. then ‘are u sick?’ like super super casually la. I think. Then I say ‘ya I got fever’ and I think she was like shocked. Heex.. then she asked kel for panadol which he din give? I dunno. Then had breakfast.. blabla. After tat we went back to worship rite, jeanette actually I think went up to her room( which is like miles away. Muz walk very far to the lift to go to our rooms cos it’s on another wing of the hotel from our youth room. Then lifts take hours to come one) and got me panadol and this vitamin-c-that-dissolves-in-water thing. Wow. You rock, jeanette!!

After lunch we had station games! Got diff stations, basically diff ppl’s rooms. My group really opened up then.. had great fun and every1 was more cheerful towards each other. Rough outline of games:

Benben’s station – charades. Guess a phrase or word when the person does actions. I got stuck at shrek cos I didn’t watch it and have no idea wats it about. Hahaz.

Ivin’s station (my room! ) – paired up wif som1, basically one actor one talker. Ivin would do this series of actions, like walk to the sofa, do jumping jacks, bla, then the talker muz tell the actor (who waits outside without looking) all that ivin does, then muz imitate exactly

Kel’s station – taboo. I had 5 words but jeanette had 8 words! Wow. Pro. I guessed quite a few too :)

Cheryl’s station – stand one line, the first person given this object or sth, then muz act it out to the 2^nd person, who muz act it out to the 3^rd person, etc. last person muz guess. Our group quite good. Hahaz.

Corn’s station – muz do a series of tasks blindfolded. I did level 6 :) I chiong all the way.. hahaz..

Eh? I like cant remember anymore. But joel wasn’t with us leh. Doesn’t he have a station? Hmm? Forgot.

Yup after games the free time we went gabs joel corn room to play taboo. But got nba match lakers vs pistons games two (lakers won in overtime thanks to a 3pointer from bryant with 2.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter which drew the game. Pistons missed the inbounds pass. The guy fumbled then times up.) so I din really play taboo. Got play abit la. lina and angeline came. Lina really mad abt taboo.. hahaha.. she loves it man.

After dinner.. msg by michael which he covered pretty well. Discussions.. fun la. Shared abt personal stuff. Jeanette shared sth really personal, and I really admire her, cos if I was her I wouldn’t have done so lor. Joel also super funny. Haha nvm.

Thusday – din go down for devotions again. Sleepy la. eh? Did I? I hav no memory of this. Hmm. (of not waking up on time)

Thursday free time.. did something against rules which I wont say.. don’t scold la.. actually nothing bad one lor.. juz keep out of certain areas can le ma. Yupz. But had fun. Hahaz.

Trip down memory lane.. at nite.. pretty lamez. Photos from past camps la. then.. nite games!!

I kinda ‘led’ the group cos jeanette and joel were part of the game committee thing. Got 6 ‘guardians’ 6 ‘guides’. Guides will giv clue , guardians wont, both muz do a task for them first. My group got a black card (which the clues point to) pro rite. Hahaz.

Then.. had worship till 12 am.. a really good experience.. I kept praying for god to enter and come in and that I would feel his presence.. then.. after gabz prayed for me.. it kinda ‘opened the floodgates’. Hahaz.. I felt gods presence la.. and I started to cry.. joel prayed for me then (he peeped to see if I was crying I saw him peep) ben ben also.. then timo. A great experience. Guess tat kinda answered my prayers.. yeps.

After tat curfew was 3am. So.. erm.. went somewhere. Secret cannot say. Then after tat went corns room.. where a lot of ppl were. Lina angeline me corn gabs joel becky abby played taboo. Cheryl benc tianen(sleeping) gideon wilfred wl yvonne lydia were there too. Me and lina qie taboo .. hahaz dunno who won but she really loves it. becky was good too. She.. seasoned veteran la :P :p :P

Friday- din wake up la. slept at 4am lidat. So late. Not enuf sleep so like.. woke up at 8. had to pack our stuff and all.. and bring down after breakfast. After msg.. lina started taking photos.. then got this orange lover photo or sth .. I shouldve worn orange la then ill be in the photo with ben ben lydia lina gideon (abby? ) . yepz then lina and lydia pose like best frens or sth. Quite cool. Then we took one screwed up photo, me gabs and joel.. I too far away and look funny :S

Then got youth group photo.. blahz. Then.. cell group photo too. Then lina angeline had to rush off with parents to frasier hill. Then.. had to check out.. bla. Played abit of taboo.. wilfred super funny.. he dunno how to describe.. ‘valet’ he go descrbie as ‘someone who opens the doors’ when it’s the car guy.

Getting lazy to write. Super long. Now almost 1am le. Got church tmr. Anyway. Oh one of the days dom treated me yvon christabel abby benc to starbucks. First time. Then on Friday benben treated me coffeebean. (and lydia ) (erm I meant treated her too) yum. Some vanilla heavenly delight dunno wats its called. Spilled on the bus.. hahaz.

Bus ride back.. at first was super boring.. we all just slept.. I beat tianen cchess but I tookback one move so I say draw. Then.. after dinner.. we all started moving ard la. I went to the back.. where claire candice adele szewei and shushu were. Then benc and gabs play song on guitar then they sing. I join in also at one time. Very nice sia. Their singing. Candice harmonize lower shushu can harmonize higher. But after a while they got tired so stopped singing. Then in front, ivin they all playing some truth game. They ask everybody a series of questions, basically like ‘which girl would u wanna date.. wat personaility.. etc. ‘ heex. Quite interesting.

Then at customs.. a lot of ppl got caught for gum.. haha…. I didn’t. well. Reached s’pore at 12am++ went to daniels house to sleep then go home 11am ++ okok I lazy to write le.. ill write my thoughts tmr.. maybe even post this tmr ba. Nitez. Back! Bleahz din go to send jeanette off at 4am today.. wished I did. Oh well. She’s away again. This church camp.. I really cant thank her enough.. joel also.. they helped me to experience god… and now.. I dunno if I wanna be a leader lor. Tat was the burden I felt god put on me.. but I dun really have the courage to step forward and say it.

Hmmz.. the ppl I msged nvr reply me.. sianz. Juz now played terrible bball.. I really lost the touch.. muz go train back. My shooting and qieing.. tmr will train.. but this whole week got chem remedial!! How sianz!! 2 hrs each day lehz! Can die ah..

Today church.. nothing much interesting la. juz talk abt camp abit.. blabla. Played 2 boring rounds of bridge which I lost.. cos din really have mood.. b4 tat was playing guitar wif cheryl and gabs. Then bball lor. At cheryls place. I played so badly I don’t wanna talk abt it. sighz. Lydia and abby went too. They quite zun. They bought ice lollies for us so nice rite. I ate one. Yummy. So long nvr eat le. Ivin fetched me and abby to our mrts. Hahaz.

Not really in blogging mood today ba.. kinda tired.. and demoralised by poor bball playing.. gonna go online at ten. Lets see if there’s anyone online who can cheer me up. :|  cyaz.

Ah.. church camp in 2 days.. am I excited or wat. Juz thinking of it makes me shake with excitement.. so I try not to think it though it’s quite impossible..

Tmr im gonna go buy some stuff for my mortal.. I hope it’s someone.. favourable.. I mean.. it’ll kinda be easier to pamper a friend than an enemy rite.. :) not tat I have an enemy. Ok.. than a stranger..  hope I get good stuff. Dunno where I’m going yet.. will decide tmr.. have a lot of time anyway.. from when I wake up till 5pm( the bbq!)

Today woke up kinda late.. 11. which is late for me.. even when I sleep at 1am or sth I always wake up at abt 8am.. then ill sleep depending on the situation.. this morning I chose to be lazy and juz slept on till 11am.. heex

Sighz.. ben not going.. that’s bad news. But I heard from christabel that gabs is going in bus 2!! Yay!! Finally got someone .. else.. who is a guy and close to me la. Bus 2 got like.. abby wl clarinda , the-bunch-of-16-17-yr-olds-I-know-last-time-but-stopped-coming-for-bay, leon.. and a few others.. no guys like gabz joel corn tianen nick (at least I think so) (haha those 16 17 yr olds are shushu… sw.. claire adele.. yep. Tat bunch).

Hmm.. yesterday.. had  a pretty fun day.. firing smses to and fro with chris..(tabel) (kinda weird calling her chris) and yvon discussing the night’s events.. we planned to go bowling but den chris lik dun realli wan and like might not get space so we decided to go wl house and watch a movie.

Ya wasted the morning away and all.. then abt 4pm went to basc to teach kids soccer.. they played match la.. some definitely have potential.. but.. not good enough. I was abt to tell gabs a story of mi p6 soccer team but some kid got rammed in the nose and injured so I couldn’t. so listen up :)

I was in a basc up to p6.. and.. I played soccer then, back in primary school.. then mi basc arranged a soccer match with another.. and.. I was (self-proclaimed again) the best soccer player there.. (hey.. I am proud, but im not boasting here.. I guess I am.. but.. ya.. I was) (sorry :P) I could like dribble pretty well (in their standards) tho I was a school team DEFENDER.. left wing def. :) can nvr forget it.

Yup.. so we ‘trained’.. played our little matches.. I was.. p5 then I think.. and we were feeling pretty ok of ourselves when we went to the field to play our match.. we had this cute polo-shirt-like shirt on which was called ‘jerseys’ by the teachers at the basc.. pretty dumb. Then the other team.. all outfitted in nice soccer jerseys (With numbers on the back), boots.. socks.. shinguards.. when I saw that I knew we were gone ;)

Oh yeah.. the match started.. my team was.. hopeless.. compared to the other team.. supposedly my rating was 8/10 then my teammates wld be like 3-7/10 .. but every single player in the other team was like 7-10/10 so.. how could we compete.. I played my best.. made some good dribbles down the wing but u know.. it takes a TEAM to win a match.. I had noone to pass to and being a DEFENDER I didn’t know how to dribble past the whole team (bet I could now ag that same team back then :P ) yup so we just couldn’t score.. we got trounced 5-0 or sth.. hahaz…

Anyway.. yup tats my basc soccer experience.. hope the church one don’t end up so bad too. Oh as I was saying.. at p6, ppl can be quite talented in soccer. There was this kid in p6, striker, who can ram the ball pretty hard.. he was reputed for that.. can probably kick it as hard as any of you can now.. im serious.. deadly striker he was.. and we had fast midfielders.. and good defenders.. any ball that comes past the comfort zone we could blast it out into the midfield (that was about all we knew at that level)

Yup gabs, kids CAN be A LOT better than those in basc at that age.. though the kids in basc HAVE potential, they’re NOT good enough.. even that tall high-soxxer guy :) he’s p6? So wat if he could kick the ball high and hard? That friend of mine who can kick pretty hard.. he was fast too. Could dribble past the defence at that time and place it sweetly in the corner if he wanted to. Most of our offence could dribble and shoot.

Not a kid in the basc can dribble. That I stand firm by. Good passing, yes. Their passing is certainly pretty impressive. Nice vision. but you gotta do more than pass to win. They need to dribble. Puh-lease.. Thursday’s match, there was hardly any defence. I knew when I played. I was the only one in my own half. My teammates were all camping like vultures at the OPPONENTS goal. With the  mere PRESENCE of defenders.. do you think the kids can maintain their good passing, running, and shooting?(not that they were good enough to be defined ‘good’) I think they’ll panic. I certainly doubt their ability.

Wahhaa tat was so long. Pretty critical wasn’t I. Well, tat was in my mind since Thursday.. I have lovely conversations with myself. No im not psycho or anything.. but I juz pretend im talking to som1 and like ‘rehearse’ the conversation, in case the conversation needs to be taken place. Yup so all that was already in my head as I typed it out. Ah.. my head feels lighter now ;) sorry if I was too critical… but.. yeah.. it was what was in my head. So I’ve let it out.

Moving on… after the soccer thing.. I went back to this place near my house for my mum’s bday dinner..  I was pretty worried if I could reach yck mrt by 7.30 at first (yep tat was the plan) but I finished my meal fairly quickly without hurrying.. so I just made my way there leisurely.. the bus came pretty quick..

Reached yck mrt 7.10 or so.. wl and the rest were at Thompson Plaza (who knows y on earth they went there) so I waited. I’m a good wait-er. Im used to waiting. Earlier in my life.. p6 ard tat time.. I was the most punctual person I knew :) always early, always waiting. Any appointment I made, I made sure I was early.. I was soo terrified of being late. Nowadays.. everyone thinks everyone will be late so everyone arrives late and finds out everyone else arrives late and so continues their being late habit. Pretty ironic isnt it.  Yup.. back to my story.. I bought a $1 icecream.. they were outta bread so I got a block of chocolate icecream between 2 biscuits.. pretty good.

The girls arrived at abt 7.45 or so.. I was not mad. I don’t get mad at girls easily. I don’t get mad  easily, in general. Therefore even harder against girls ;) christabel weilyn yvonne. Yep. Walked to this busstop and took the bus to wl house..

Then there.. wl’s cute fluffy dog called Frosty greeted us by jumping at yvonne. Haha.. couldn’t get enuf of her. Jumping out her legs and scratching her appararently. And it’s afraid of me!! When I approach it and bend down itll scurry away quickly. BLEAHZ. I love dogs. And that dog doesn’t like me :(

Later.. I went over to clarinda’s house to borrow a vcd to watch.. I volunteered to go.. it was just ‘3 doors up’ (exactly wat wl said) .. I wanted to talk to her anyway as she din wan to com n watch wif us.. and. I din reli know her well la tho we had a healthy msn-sms relationship.

Haha.. she was in her school u… looking cute and all. ;) went into her house.. had some idle chat with her abt her cds.. she has tons of them.. talked a bit abt her npcc. Haha she says she’s BRAVE. Few girls profess that. Hehe. Yeah she’s pretty cute. Like a… I just cant find the animal to describe it. :) when she smiles she looks like an animal.. I just cant finger which animal.. hamster? No.. cat? Not really. I JUST CANT. Haha.. nah.. I don’t have a crush on her if tats what u think.. im over crushes.. :D… she’s just cute la.. describing her.. like.. I will describe an ice cube as cold… an orange as orange.. etc. u noe wat I mean.

Watched this chi show.. super funny and pathetic plot.. the guy portrayed as a bad guy is actually this nice charitable person.. (like what the hell? :P ) and other stupid stupid things.. I daresay the plot and the overall show was as weak as scary movie3.. movie-wise. (Scarymovie 3 is suuuper funny tho. But u hav to admit weak plot and all. But tat’s what cracks us up rite :) )

Took a lift from chris’ dad to her house busstop where I took 13.. I broke her bowling hi score on her phone on the way.. :) kinda easy. Haiz.. they all gabs chris and family.. all super close. Father daughter.. everyting la. Close like … close. Yeah. Close.

Hmm.. yeah.. church camp is like tomorrow. Leaving for it I mean. Cos now it.s 12.02am technically Saturday morning already. Yep. This is kinda long isn’t it? This is what a blog should be about.
